The box that I have is actually Star Realms Frontiers, which is a core set but also an expansion, with new cards and a cooperative variant that you can play solo.In my opinion, the original is worth getting as well. The original has starting decks for two people, and Frontiers has starting decks for four people. Play the AI on 3 different difficulty settings. None of the trade deck cards are duplicated, but the original does come with more of the starting deck cards (Scouts and Vipers), and more Explorers.Add the Star Realms Core Set or Star Realms Colony Wars to support 5-6 player formats. Frontiers contains enough cards to support four players. Unless otherwise specified, all the standard rules apply to each format.
